Introduction

Terry Lim is a martial arts leader with a lifelong history of training in multiple martial arts systems. Kancho Terry Lim as he is known "colloquially" amongst his peers is know as a man dedicated to the development and welfare of his students which are spread amongst the suburbs of Melbourne Australia.

Kancho Terry began his training in Malasia in 1956 in combat Judo (Ju jitsu) and followed this experience with training in Aikido and Shaolin Kung Fu. After moving to Australia in 1962 Kancho Terry continued his training in Karate and Kali (Filipino Stick Fighting).

Kancho Terry Lim has a reputation of being a caring and dedicated martial artist who has a strong concern for his many students, making him one of Melbournes most popular martial art school operators. As a tournament operator and promoter Kancho Terry has proven his success and ability to draw large numbers of competitors and spectators. Kancho Terry is respected and acknowledged by his industry peers and has been presented with many honours including the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame AMAHOF.
