Bill Johnson is a 6th Dan in Ju Jitsu

Bill is the founder and director of the Kombat Academy in Maitland New South Wales and has been teaching Australia wide for over 35 years. Bill holds black belts or instructor credentials in Ninjutsu, Arnis, and Muay Thai. The skills acquired by Bill over his years of training has led him to be a sought-after instructor for sectors such as Military, Police and Security Industry.

The Kombat Academy program incorporates a blend of traditional martial arts to ensure structure, and ethical practice together with Realistic Self Protection and Situational awareness which is often missing from “traditional only” martial arts schools.

The Kombat Academy is popular with the Maitland locals because it not only offers professional, structured classes, it also provides camps and other special activities that enhance the students learning experience and prepares them for gradings in a relaxed and fun environment.

All students are provided regular and consistent motivational activities that align with Bill Johnsons teaching style. Bill’s curriculum is designed to challenge its participants and create an environment of camaraderie amongst its practitioners where all work toward common goals and serve one another.
