Anne Pang – Is a Sifu (master instructor and performer) in Wing Chun Kung Fu
Anne Pang is an Australasian Kung Fu Champion and one of the most accomplished female Wing Chun practitioners in the world.
Anne first began training in 1974 in the art of Wing Chun, the only martial art invented by a female and one of the most efficient and effective styles of self-defence. She tested her skills in many open-style tournaments, frequently winning in both the forms and fighting categories. Most notably she became an Australasian Kung Fu Champion (Full contact, open styles).
As a fully qualified martial arts instructor, she developed and began conducting her Women’s Self Defence course in 1990, going on teach self-defence at numerous educational institutions from primary level through to university, plus many government and corporate bodies.
In 1998 she received the Tribute Award for Women’s Self Defence Instructor, from Blitz Magazine.
Sifu Anne’s Self Defence Course was focusses on practical and effective techniques, along with prevention strategies through early detection. Many corporate and community organisations have used the program to help various cohorts, not only are her strategies sound and efficient, Sifu Anne is recognised as a role model for all women and her influence and fan base is vast. The Anne Pang program offers dynamic, easy to learn self-defence skills, and because of the technique acquisition, it will give the student more confidence to deal with adversity and other life challenges. Learning respect for self and others is one of the greater qualities that anyone can learn, and the Anne Pang Self Defence Course will not only help acquire these skills, it will also provide a network of likeminded friends for whom you can keep in touch with, long after the course has finished.
